Why SPE
Changeover is where the money leaks
Most shops lose money on changeover, not on bending. The SPE closes the gap with fast approach speeds, motorized crowning and a control that stores 10,000 programs, so a 40-minute setup becomes a 12-minute one. On a two-shift operation that is roughly 600 extra hours of bending a year.

Alternative control systems

Hydraulic clamping system
Clamp punch and die from a pedal instead of a hammer. Tooling changes in seconds, clamp pressure is set once, and there is no uneven tightening to damage a shank. Best for: high-mix shops · frequent tooling changes
